Hi, I am attempting to update GCC on our Cent OS 5.2 server to the latest version as it supports Core2 optimisation, which I intend to use when compiling My SQL.
repo=epel-source-6&arch=$basearch failovermethod=priority enabled=1 gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-6 gpgcheck=1 and it will update whole system, including the gcc.
Note this update will not update Cent OS to version 7 or something.
I did what it says but got an error just like my other attempts.
