I want to update my BIOS from version F3 to version F11 which is latest however I am not sure as to what I should be doing with the file I got from the manufacturer. My motherboard is from Gigabyte and it's model number is 965P-DS3 rev 1.0 (C1) and chipset is P965/G965. I got a file which extracted then 3 other files to where I desired. F11 (i assume this is the bios file itself or patcher for it or w/e related to it)(it runs the exe and fills in it seems the file name for the bios "965PDS3.
Processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 and from the information I got from gigabyte the latest version is F11. F11" in a small box which has as title LOAD)FLASH895.
EXE (the exe itself which can be run or if i want i can pick the autoexec to fill in for me)If I run and let it do it's thing it will suddenly exit the program and as a result I got a log.
